we heard some horrible loud noise the other day and couldnt figure out what it was. we finally went outside and it was a woodpecker pounding on the metal cover over the chimeny. little bastard.

also for the first time, last night we had an owl in our yard. doesnt usually happen around here

they have thicker skulls and it absorbs the energy I believe I saw once on tv a long time back
